The position

For the further international growth of EFICE, we are looking for a driven Business Developer. You identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships and translate customer needs into concrete business opportunities. You work closely with sales and product development and are the driving force behind EFICE’s commercial expansion in Europe and beyond.

What will you do?

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities at home and abroad

  • Reporting to management on commercial KPIs and progress

  • Working closely with Sales and R&D to steer product development from the market

  • Representing EFICE at international trade fairs, conferences and networking events

  • Drawing up business cases, quotations and commercial proposals

  • Analysing the market and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities

  • Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with customers, governments and industry organisations

Who are you?

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in an international IT or technology environment

  • Knowledge of the fisheries or agrifood sector is an advantage, but not a requirement

  • Willing to travel (internationally)

  • Experience in setting up and maintaining international customer relationships

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong analytical skills combined with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written; other European languages are an advantage
