The position

As a Project & Support Officer at EFICE, you play a key role in our product quality and customer satisfaction. You are the link between our customers and the development team: you identify what is happening in practice, test new functionalities and make sure customers are helped quickly and properly. No two days are the same: one day you are working through a test scenario for a new release, the next you are helping a customer in Denmark or Spain by phone.

What will you do?

  • Supporting the further development of our software products: thinking along about new features, translating customer feedback into concrete requirements for the development team

  • Occasionally visiting customers on-site for installation, training or project support

  • Documenting work processes and manuals

  • Analysing and resolving technical issues and user questions, or passing them on to the right colleague

  • Providing customer support via the helpdesk (phone, email and ticketing system) for our international users

  • Testing new functionalities and releases, drawing up test scenarios and reporting findings

Who are you?

  • Technical affinity and interest in software development and IT systems

  • Willing to occasionally travel to customers, including outside the Netherlands

  • Affinity with the fisheries sector is a nice bonus, but absolutely not required

  • Experience with testing, helpdesk or project support is an advantage, but not a strict requirement

  • Customer-focused, patient and solution-oriented under pressure

  • Structured way of working with an eye for detail: tracking down errors is in your DNA

  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English, as our customers are international
